Lower Yellowstone Irrigation Project Comments

As many of you are aware, last week there were three public hearings for the Environmental Impact Study on the LYIP and Intake, and the preferred alternative, the fish by-pass and modified weir, selected by the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Bureau of Reclamation as the best solution to meet all the objectives.

You still have time to submit your comments to have your voice entered into the final EIS.

Public comments can be submitted three ways:

1.)  Public Meetings - Verbal or Handwritten

      2.)  Email:  cenwo-planning@usace.army.mil

       3.)  Mail:

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District,

  Attn:  CENWO-PM-AA; 1616 Capitol Avenue

  Omaha, Nebraska 68102
