LOBBYIST ACTIVITY REPORT

2007 SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE SESSION

(May 10, 2007 - May 15, 2007)

The 2007 Special Session of the Montana Legislature convened on Thursday, May 10, 2007 and adjourned on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. The major issues addressed in the Special Session were (1) the State Government budget for next fiscal year; (2) the funding of education programs; and, (3). tax relief.

I monitored the proposed legislation and attended some of the hearings of the House Appropriations Committee. I did not provide testimony on any of the proposed legislation.
